The Linguist is a blog maintained by Steve Kaufmann, a language aficionado fluent in French, Spanish, German, Italian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Swedish and English. He blogs about language and methods and resources for learning, especially approaches that are off the beaten path. The blog also features occasional video entries in different languages, podcasts, and Steve's commentary on language acquisition theories and news. It's a good place to look for people who are struggling with a foreign language or just interested in the process. Steve is also very involved in the development of <A HREF="http://www.lingq.com">LingQ</A>, a free and very multifaceted online community for language learning.
