myGengo’s new homepage… now with more gengo-chan!

Maybe you've noticed...but things look a tad different around myGengo, don't they?

Redesign, Phase 1
This is phase 1 of our website redesign and it's mostly little tweaks and improvements to our system to make the overall experience at myGengo for our customers and translators a pleasant one. But there's some important ones that I wanted to specifically mention:

• When placing an order, you can now exclude words from the word count (URLs, company/product names you don't want translated) by placing "[[[ ]]]" around the words. This also means that you won't be charged for these words.
• Added job/discussion notes (in addition to the feedback form) so that translators and customers can directly communicate with one another
• New additions to our Twitter translation service...we're now translating into Spanish! And we've also added new twitter accounts like Pete Wentz, Mariah Carey, Yellow Magical Orchestra and Nobuyuki Hayashi

Gengo-chan Kawaii!
And who could forget gengo-chan? It was designed by Dana Zimmerling as we've mentioned before, and we've added our beloved mascot on our homepage and as the icon for the different price levels. Isn't gengo-chan kawaii? We thought so too : ]
